For how long have you been existing ?

The Shop in its present form started in 2013/2014. First selling sports-related DVDs/VHS and toys. After a few years, around 2016/2017 our main focus shifted to retro-computing.

Do you have any previous experience in retro-

computing?

I´ve bought my first Commodore 64 in 1987 along with an 1530 Tapedrive. My first game was "Gary Lineker´s Superstar Soccer" (a complete dud). I started programming in 1987 in BASIC and Simon´s BASIC. Got an Amiga 500 in 1991 and in 1994 a DX 2/66.

During the late 80s and 90s I´ve bought and sold a lot of original games in a german magazine called "Computer Flohmarkt" (although I wasn´t a vendor then, only a kid :)

Can you help me find rare stuff ?

Maybe ... just email me about it. But everything I got in stock can be found in my ebay-store. So chances are slim that I happen to own something that isn´t already on ebay.

Do you have any connection to the retro-scene or

are you  just in for the quick buck ?

You can find me on message boards either on german ones (www.forum64.de) or on facebook commenting on retro-related stuff, answering questions or just voicing oppinions on retro-computing. Mostly under nicks like "cosmoretro".

Your english in your ebay store is kind of crummy ...

Because "No one´s more retro than cosmo" ? This means absolutely nothing and is not a mistake or plain stupidity. It´s intentional and is only there to echo the terrible english spoken by most people during the heyday of the Commodore 64 in germany. BTW I´m a native speaker :D

Do you sell outside of ebay ?

At the moment I really don´t. A webstore is upcoming pretty soon ... stay tuned ...

Wie lange gibt es den Shop schon ?

Den Shop gibt es seit 2013/2014. Zuerst habe ich Sport DVDs/VHS und Spielzeug verkauft. In den Jahren 2016/2017 erfolgte die Ausrichtung auf Retro-Computing.

Ich habe im Jahr 1987 (im April) einen Commodore 64 mit Tapedrive 1530 gekauft. Mein erstes Game war "Gary Lineker´s Superstar Soccer". Im Jahr 1991 bekam ich einen Amiga 500 und 3 Jahre darauf habe ich mir einen DX2/66 (AMD) gekauft. Ab dem Jahr 1989 habe ich mit Computer- und Videogames auf der "Plattform" Computer-Flohmarkt gehandelt. Allerdings als begeistertes Kid, dass einfach immer mal wieder ein neues, gebrauchtes, Game zocken wollte.

Kannst Du mir helfen seltene Sachen zu finden ?

Ich habe eigentlich alles Online in meinem Ebay-Shop. Es kann sein, dass ich mal etwas habe was ihr sucht, Fragen kann man mal...

oder bist Du nur einer dieser "Geschäftsmänner"

Man findet mich auf dem größten Commodore-Forum im deutschsprachigen Raum www.forum64.de und auch auf Facebook in Retro-computing Foren. Ich kommentiere dort immer als "CosmoRetro" oder ähnlich. Falls dort so einer auftaucht bin ich das. Ich gebe da Tipps, beantworte Fragen, gebe Lob oder äußere schlichtweg nur meine Meinung. Wohlgemerkt immer als Gleicher unter Gleichen!

Verkaufst Du auch außerhalb Ebays ?

Eigentlich nein im Moment. Es kommt aber bald ein Webstore außerhalb ebays.

Was bedeutet eigentlich "No One´s more Retro than

Cosmo"?

Gar nichts, dass ist ein Scherz und soll eine Hommage an die 80er, und das schreckenserregende Englisch der Generation die damals am Commodore 64 saß sein. Lustigerweise haben sich einige User auf Message-Boards darüber lustig gemacht. Keine Sorge, mein Englisch und auch mein Deutsch ist besser als das(s) da.
